- One dial (primary tuning control knob) The grille was originally plain silver (not painted in colors). The models Gemchest 609, Gembox 609, Gembox 610 and Gembox 610 as AC versions share the same schematic with either a tube line up of UX-226, UX-226, UX-226, UY-227, UX-226, UX-171A, UX-280 or Cunningham tubes CX326, CX326, CX326, C327, CX362, CX371A and CX380. Gemchest is a console, Gembox a table radio. The mains transformer is either for 110 Volt 60 cycles, 110 Volt 25 cycles or 220 Volt 25 cycles.
