  • Mentioned in 'Modern Radio Practice' by Hayward (1923) Page 214 Fig.160 shows the De Forest A 400 Amplifying transformer which is placed between the stages and consists of primary and secondary windings. In various types the ratio of turns varies from 3 to 1 up to 9 to 1.
