The Detrola Model 304 family of radios contained the same 304 chassis with different cabinet options. As was common with Detrola pre-WW2 radios, different cabinet options were denoted by adding a digit to the base model number, such as 3041, 3042, etc.
Note that either ballast tube BK49BG (glass) or BK49B (metal) is interchangeable.
