  • The Detrola Model 304 family of radios contained the same 304 chassis with different cabinet options. As was common with Detrola pre-WW2 radios, different cabinet options were denoted by adding a digit to the base model number, such as 3041, 3042, etc.

    Note that either ballast tube BK49BG (glass) or BK49B (metal) is interchangeable. 

    The following table lists the known Detrola 304 family models.

    3043 Y Flat top with a raised center platform. Wood tone. 6 vertical cutouts: 2 large (L and R) and 2x2 small (center).
    3044 N Slightly arched top. Wood tone. 5 cutouts: 2 trapizodal (L and R) and 1 large rectangle (center).
    3047 N Flat top with rounded front and sides. 2 wood tones with black sides. 3 gull wing cutouts.
