  • Acousticon "hearing device" as advertised in The Literary Digest June 7th 1913.  "Six- strength sound regulator" is controlled by moving a lever to one of six buttons on the back of the microphone.  Back of microphone also has a clip on top to attach the microphone to clothing.  Battery tube holds 2 D cells.  Ear piece has a push rod switch on its back that turns the unit on or off.
