    Brief technical description

    There are two PCB assemblies.

The front sided PCB with ref. "20230218 D-109KS V1.0" contains the MCU/Display/KB and DSP receiver with an analog SW active filter. Initial PCB assy had a "20221212 D-109KS" reference (no version mentioned).

The back sided PCB with ref. "20230517 D109-M V2.0" contains the Power Supply, Audio stages, and RF analog section (mostly SW). Initial PCB assy had a "20221208 D109-M" reference.

The design is based on a Si4734-60 DSP (IC1) and a custom JTQ814F6B multimedia processor (U2), managed by a HC32L176 MCU (U1) hidden under a shielded cover, all located on the Front sided PCB. SW band filter is handled by 2SC3356-R25 NPN (Q2). A Buzzer for feedback info, a Microphone for wireless calls, a tuning encoder, and a TF slot are also installed, along with several active devices.

On the back sided PCB a D4800 2-channel audio pre-amplifier (U1) drives a APA2068 2-channel audio power amp (U2) drives the built-in speaker in BTL-mode (Mono, L-channel) and drives the earphones in SE-mode (2-channels). A 4054B / LTH7B (IC7) and a  BRCL3130ME (IC3) manage the battery charging. A 6206A  LDO (IC1) handles the power supply regulation. The antenna RF signal is protected by a A7 (D2) pair of diodes; the front-end is handled by a 2SK2394-6(YJ6) N-FET (Q19) and a 2SC3356-R25 NPN (Q6) with help of some inductor/capacitance/resistor networks. Some additional active devices handles the switching control.
