• 'Variovent' is a "physical" resistor of about 100mm Ø, to be mounted in the backside wall of closed speaker cabinets. It's purpose is the suppression of the peak resonance frequency of the bass driver(s).
  Dynaudio recommended one 'Variovent' up to 50 litres box volume, two up to 80 litres, and three for higher volumes.
