  • The Viking 51-39R has a walnut finish, bleached Mahagony. There is a red plate "Manufactured for the T. Eaton Co. Ltd. by Dominion Electrohome Industries Ltd. Kitchener Canada." On the chassis layout chart (sticked to the bottom of the set) is written the following warning: "Any person installing or operating this Receiving Set without first having obtained a license from the Minister of transport of Canada is liable, on summary conviction, to a fine not exceeding twentyfive dollars, and the said receifing set may be forfeited to His Majesty by order of the Minister, for such disposition as the Minister may direct. (No. J-2712R - 1M-9-50-D.P.) A very similar cabinet can be found here for model 49-33 for manufacturer Electrohome. Only the grill seems to be slightly different. Both were sold by the T. Eaton Department Store
