  • Model 728 is a special IF output transformer for use with VHF converters, such as that described in "The Eddystone 145 Mc/s Guide", published in 1948. It comprises one tuned winding with an adjustable ferrite core and one low-impedance output winding. It is designed to ensure the optimum transfer of energy from the converter to the associated receiver, the latter being tuned to a frequency near 10 MHz.
