  • Kilodyne All Electric Four
A short-wave receiver for all electric working from A.C. mains.

The all-electric Kilodyne is an adaption of the battery set, provision has been made for the use of A.C. valves. The S.G. valve is of the vari-mu type and variable bias to this and fixed bias to the L.F. valves is fitted.

    Power Supply Unit

The Eddystone, Power Supply Unit for use with the Kílodyne receiver has been specially designed for short-wave use and hum will be found to have been reduced to a minimum. Chokes are fitted in each output lead and these are screened so that there is no pickup from the electrostatic field of the transformer. The transformer is one of the few types available suitable for short wave work and no modulation hum when the receiver is being used on the verge of reaction will be found.
