  • A battery powered portable seven transistor radio covering MW (200-500 metres) and LW (1200-2000 metres). Press buttons for waveband selection, tone and off. Elliptical loudspeaker 7 x 3⅝ inches. Sockets for external aerial and tape recorder.

    The chassis is similar to that in the Ekco PT426/L Valentine model which has a "LUX" press button preset to Radio Luxembourg and also the Ekco MBT425 "Varsity" model which is a mains/battery set. The chassis is the same as that in the Ferranti PT1102 "Escort" and the PYE 1355 models.
