      AC-operated, five transistor clock radio designed for BC band reception. Housed in plastic moulded cabinet in choice of colours: front fret rear cover in white; clock face in lustre bronze; cabinet back in snow frost, taupe, new wheat or lilac mist; press-buttons in white. Six dial scales are supplied.
      The self-starting synchronous clock remains on at all times while receiver is plugged into a "live" power point; it cannot be switched off at the receiver. Dial scale is only illuminated when radio is on.
      Controls: push-buttons for off, auto. on, sleep; knobs for tuning and volume. Functions include: receiver switch and off by manual means; automatic operation of receiver at present time (e.g. waking to music) followed by 10 mins later buzzer alarm; slumber settings for 10 mins, ½ hr, ¾ hr or 1 hr, after which receiver switches off.

    Price after the introduction of decimal currency in Australia (14/2/1966) was $73.50.
