The PRC-1 Preamplifier is split into two units, with two tubes each:
- Unit 1 "Preamplifier": has input jacks, and input selector switch
- Unit 2 "Remote Control": has Tone and Volume controls, and Record Equalizer switch
The Remote Control can be placed 75 feet away from the Preamplifier.
This mono Preamplifier was designed to operate with Model A30 Circlotron Amplifier.
