• Bemerkung
• The same chassis and cabinet is called ARISTOCRAT in most cases but in the three cases linked it is called PATRIOT because of the color combinations. They are a Norman Bel Geddes design. It can be seen on the recent „Pioneers of American Industrial Design“ USPS Stamp set. It was commissioned by Emerson for their 25th Anniversary. Originally all Aristocrat models had a brown handle and brown knobs (bullet type, not Star!). Further combinations, e.g. black case with star knobs look interesting, but are obviously not original and were easily created by collectors/antique dealers.
  
  PATRIOT models are according to the US flag in colors:
  - model 400-1 is basic blue with red and white trim, handle blue;
  - model 400-2 is basic white with red and blue trim.
  - model 400-3 is basic red with white and blue trim.
  The white will now be cream or yellow because of sun light exposure. You might find models with replica knobs or the wrong knobs without the star and you find repainted models. Original catalins are not painted!
