  • This model is named like its chassis. The chassis is also used in models 118, 120, 126. Stein dates it ca 1937, which is too late, since it is already in Riders 7 from 1936/37.

I have this small Table top Emerson U4B in my collection. It was made in 1935 (according to the info in Steins Volume 1 on page 93) According to Stein's, it is an Ingraham cabinet too. It has 4 vacuum tubes + a ballast. The tubes are: 6D6, 6C6, 43, & a 25Z5. It's size is 10.5 " wide by 7.5 " high and 6 " deep ( + knobs ) . It  weighs 7 pounds. Has a 5" diameter speaker with a field coil too.

Because of my lack of a new ballast, I had to modify the power supply to get it operating correctly. I now have this set completley restored & operating fine too.  I do have 2 pictures of my set that I can upload when you modify the information on this model.
