  • Ensign Battery Radio 5V

Using new valve types, which have revolutionised battery radio design. Works entirely from dry batteries. Owing to the low consumption of the valves battery replacement costs are very low. Current drawn from A" battery 250ma; from "B" battery 5ma. Valves used are 1A7G, IN5G, IH5G, 1N5G, 1A5G.

It isn't just chance that makes this 1½ volt Ensign an outstanding Receiver. The best of everything from top to bottom and the batteries last twice as long as in older radios. This sensational radio with dual-purpose valves develops as much power as the average seven-valve radio. Superb tone from 6in. permanent magnet dynamic speaker. Stylish cabinet of finest veneers, beautifully grained, hand polished.
