  • Notes
  • At last! A really portable "Hikers One". Completely self-contained- set, valve, batteries, aerial and phones all in a small lunch case. This portable set will give you good headphone reception from your main local stations. Using the famous "Hikers One'" circuit in conjunction with the self-contained loop aerial, this is the answer for a low-powered portable. Even in a steel-framed building in Wellington the "Hikers Lunch Bag One" continued to bring in the locals at good 'phone strength. The coil is also the frame aerial, and is wound around the outside of the wood chassis on which the components are mounted.

Complete kit of parts including valve, batteries, and case £2/5/-. Phones extra.
