  • Anotaciones
  • There are two front speaker grill styles.
The rear panel has the valve line up and a pair of sockets for Aerial and Earth. The same loop coupling scheme as on the Ever Ready C/E
    Warning DK92 & DL94
Trader sheet 1098 and R&TV(Molloy) does show two or maybe three versions of this and the 1950 Table Model T (same chassis).
Later versions exchange DK91 to DK92 (better performance but is differently wired!) and also DL92 to DL94 (x2 power on same filament but is differently wired!)
The last version chassis (DK92 and DL94) thus is the same B7G base wiring as 1953 "Sky Queen" and may only differ in component values. The metal work looks identical.
Unusually, the chassis is resting on two spring strips and can simply be slid out for servicing if the back cover is removed
Superseded by the 1953 "Sky Queen"
    Battery is Ever-Ready B103 combined HT/LT (90 volts/1.5 volts). Cost £10, 10 Shillings and 11 d.

There are definitely three cosmetic versions. All are the same physical chassis & speaker but different valve/tube options (later production) have different socket wiring and may have component changes..

    • Earliest is painted wood/plywood with no bezel on the speaker grill (1949-50)
    • Intermediate has a moulded bezel and larger grill for the speaker. Painted wood/plywood. Some or all may use DL94 (Earliest possible 1950)
    • Last version uses moulded bezel and larger grill for the speaker and "Rexine" type cloth covering on cabinet and rear cover. Last production (no earlier than Dec.1951/Jan 1952) was DK92 & DL94
