  • Annotazioni
  • First two ED1502 are "B" and third is "A" . Audio output IC UA7307TC. There are 3 x silicon diodes (possibly 1N4148, unidentified) are used as an approximately 2V regulator. Nine diodes in total.

Size is approximate. Serial numbers start SLD also Skyleader is written with no space.

Uses PP9 battery pack. Weight excludes battery.

Sometimes incorrectly called a Sky Leader III or Skyleader 3 due to people incorrectly parsing the text "Skyleader 3 Band  Radio". There was one previous model with a similar name, the "Sky Leader" (1958), Ever Ready's first transistor model (spaced, not one word).

Made in Malaysia, one of three in probably final series of Ever Ready Radio sets. See also Skyranger (LW/MW only) and Skytime (LCD Clock Radio). The company was the subject of a hostile takeover by Hanson Trust in 1981/1982. All radio production ceased by 1982. Ever Ready UK was renamed to Berec Group during this period, hence the label has BEREC. It was not the 1950s & 1960s export branch of Ever Ready called BEREC or Berec.
