- Notes
-
This transistorized sine/square oscillator has been designed for general electrical or mechanical purposes in industrial or educational establishments.
Powered directly from the mains supply or from internal batteries.1 Hz to 100 kHz frequency range is provided by a resistance-capacitance oscillator bridge.
A 3 % accuracy of dial reading ± 0.5 Hz is maintained throughout the whole range.
Sinewave output has less than 2% harmonic distortion.
Rise & fall times of the square wave output are less than 0.3 µsec, the sag or overshoot being less than 5%.
The attenuator is calibrated into a 600 Ω load; Four switch positions, 0dB, -20 dB, -40 dB and -60 dB in addition to a continuously variable control covering the range -6 dB to +14 dB; accuracy is within 3 %.
The maximum output is 12V peak-to-peak into 600 Ω.
