  • Model: Sine/Square Wave Oscillator - Farnell Instruments Ltd.;
  • Shape
  • Tablemodel, with any shape - general.
  • Notes
  • This transistorized sine/square oscillator has been designed for general electrical or mechanical purposes in industrial or educational establishments.

    Powered directly from the mains supply or from internal batteries.

    1 Hz to 100 kHz frequency range is provided by a resistance-capacitance oscillator bridge.

    A 3 % accuracy of dial reading ± 0.5 Hz is maintained throughout the whole range.

    Sinewave output has less than 2% harmonic distortion.

    Rise & fall times of the square wave output are less than 0.3 µsec, the sag or overshoot being less than 5%.

    The attenuator is calibrated into a 600 Ω load; Four switch positions, 0dB, -20 dB, -40 dB and -60 dB in addition to a continuously variable control covering the range -6 dB to +14 dB; accuracy is within 3 %.

    The maximum output is 12V peak-to-peak into 600 Ω.
