  • 402C Adam, two speed changer 16-E-2, remote Aladdin possible
Cabinet: The Capehart model 402C Adam was available in either Walnut or Satinwood.
The Capehart model series 400 with Adam cabinet were made in two basic cabinet versions: The first models were called 402 Adam for 1931/32, followed by 402A Adam (1932/33), 402B Adam (1933/34) and 402C Adam for 1934/35.
Model Adam 406 followed as Adam 406D in 1935/36, 406E, 406F, 406G, 406H, 406K-AM and 406K-FM, 406M and Adam 406N for 1946-1948 with the post war changer 41-E instead of 16-E. The chassis changed each season.

    Chassis:
The series 300C and 400C were made with either broadcast only or as "All-Wave" receiver for BC, LW and SW.
We still have to find the right schematic and a cabinet photo.

The Capehart 400 series were introduced for season 1931/32 without suffix, followed by A 1932/33, B 1933/34 etc. through to season 1948-50 (P). See here the "Common information for the Capehart model pages for the 1930s and 1940s" and for the overview for Series 400 models here.
