The Emor Globe Radio was originally patented in England in 1944 and went into production just after the war. In 1947 the design was licensed to the Faust Radio Company of Montreal Canada, who made the model 100 for the Canadian market.
The globe on the Canadian model has a more oval shape compared to the UK model that is round. The post and base is chrome plated compared to the painted cast iron base of the UK model. The height of the radio is adjustable 3.5 - 4.5 ft.
The globe was available in several colours.
The schematic is similar to the US EMOR 100.
