  • A 2 band battery powered superhet radio in a bakelite cabinet. Released September 1935.

    Battery Details
    Red Lead (connects to VI, V2, V3 and V4 anodes) 150 volts
    *White Lead (connects to V3 screens)                    132, 138 or 144 volts
    Maroon Lead (connects to V1 and V2 screens)      54 volts
    Yellow Lead (V4 grid bias)                                        9 volts
    Green Lead (V3 grid bias)                                     1.5 volts
    Black Lead with Red Plug                                       GB+
    Black Lead with Black Plug                                     HT -
    Black Lead with Black Spade                                  LT -
    Blue Lead with Red Spade                                      LT+
    *The correct voltage tapping for the White lead is determined by the
    code letter marked on the top of the QP21 valve and by the table below: -
