- Firestone began selling non-automobile radios in the Fall 1936. These radios were normally manufactured by Stewart Warner. The model 7405-1 (4 tubes) is the smallest of the family for 1936/37, followed by 7405-2 (5 tubes) and 7405-3 (7 tubes) in size. The model 7405-4 has according to Rider's the same chassis as model 7405-2. We presume that it was sold very shortly after model 7405-2 but have no details.
