The Firestone S7422-8 is an AC/DC operated 5 tube BC band receiver. The BC band tuning range is 535 to 1720kHz. Has built-in loop antenna which is mounted on the side of the chassis. Uses lamp #47.
The catalog picture of the Firestone S7403-5 looks similar to model S7422-8 and the chassis layout is the same. Thus the schematic and alignment information for model S7403-5 might be useful for model S7422-8, however no manufacturer data has yet been found to substantiate this. (S7403-5 information found in Riders Firestone 12-2).
