- Model with AVC, supersedes "Superhet 5". All valves except rectifier have 13v. heaters, two (the W30 and N30) being metal/glass "Catkin" types. The BC3540 model is identical apart from a 190-250 volt AC mains transformer. A similar chassis is fitted to the BC3544, BC3544L and BC3542 console radios, and the BC3548 and BC3548L radiograms.
