  • Anotaciones
  • The model 9A5 exists with and without handle and it was marketed by different brands.
The Photofact folder set 20, date June 1947, folder 4710-3 shows it as Cisco model 9A5 with handle and names Cisco as trade name but Cities Service Oil Co., New York, as supplier. Our SchematicFinder brings for the 9A5 also General Implement Corp. for SAMS Photoshop March 1948, set 37, folder 7 and for General Television on May 1948, set 39, folder 6. Rider's has it in volume 19 under "Misc" for General Implement Corp. and when comparing the parts on the chassis, the tube line up etc. it seems to be the same chassis/schematic. For (The) Seiberling Rubber Co., Rider's 17-3 (schematic) and 17-4 (chassis bottom view), there is also the same for its 9A5 model.

Rider's brings on Volume 16-2 for General Television & Radio Corporation, Chicago the dial cord drive as being the same for models 4B5, 5B5, 9A5, 23A6, 24B6 and 25B5, the alignment at 16-4 and the schematic for 9A5 on 16-5. The first entry is at Rider's 15-1 (alignment 15-7), the schematic and chassis share models 9A5, 15A5 and 17A5 different are 1A5, 3A5, 5A5, 19A5 on the same page. Interesting to see that we get both chassiss versions for 9A5 (perhaps also 15A5 and 17A5), depending time and publisher! One has the 50L6 moved to the loudspeaker, the other shows all five tubes in one line.
