- Notes
- General Electric model 809 is a mahogany console TV with a 12 channel VHF tuner and a 10" round CRT with safety glass. It has the same chassis as the model 805 "Locomotive" TV.
See model 805 for the various chassis versions that were used.
The early version of model 809 has a rectangular CRT mask with a picture size of 8.5" x 6.375". The later version has a double-D mask with a 9.5" x 7.5" picture size.
