  • The General Electric models A-70 and A-75 share the same schematic at Rider's 6-19 through 6-23 which show IF peak at 465 kc. They can have a 25 cycle (C) or 60 cycle mains transformer which came in two versions, one fix for 105-120 volts (A), the other for 105 to 250 volts with 4 tappings (V = Universal Transformer). The Broadcast band (B) covers 540 - 1750 kc, band C (Fishery, Police etc.) 1.75 - 6 mc and the Short wave band (D) 6 - 19.5 mc (foreign broadcasts).
