  • Remarques

  • The General Electric L-50 is an AC/DC operated, 5 tube BC and SW band receiver.  A switch on the rear of the chassis selects between AC and DC operation.

    Band Frequency Ranges are as follows:
    BC Band.............540 - 1710kHz
    SW Band............2.4 - 2.5MHz

    The left hand knob is the volume control and power switch.  The right hand knob is the frequency tuning control.  The small knob below and to the right of the frequency tuning control is the band selector switch, with the counter-clockwise position selecting the BC band and the clockwise position selecting the SW band.

    General Electric models L-50 and L-51 share the same chassis and schematic.
