- High impedance speaker (15 Ohms DC) with reed suspended between pole pieces, drives paper cone with a stylus, and is directly driven by the transistor collector, without an audio output transformer. Several contemporary GE transistor radio models also employed this kind of speaker which was originally used in the 1920's because of it's high efficiency and high impedance. The 3 transistors are given as ge-1 ge-2 ge-4 - not known if it is a real type number.
