The Grebe 3016 is a 16-tube, 3-band radio with chassis manufactured by Garod. It receives the Broadcast band from 540-1735 kHz, Shortwave2 from 2.3 to 7.5 MHz, and Shortwave1 from 7.3 to 22 MHz.
The functions of the 7 knobs, from left to right, are 1) Tone, 2) Sensitivity / AFC On-Off, 3) Band switch, 4) Tuning, 5) Fidelity-Selectivity, 6) Phono-Radio, and 7) Power On-Off / Volume. The receiver features dual IF amplifiers, Automatic Frequency Control by means of a 6H6 discriminator and 6K7 control, and a 6K7 driver for the 6U5 tuning eye. The speaker is a Rola K-12.
