  • 1919 Grebe Vacuum Tube Transmitter Adjustable Inductance Type TLAD - The Type TLAD unit is arranged for use with the TKAD Tickler Coupler Unit for use in radio telephone and undamped telegraph transmission. When connected in series with the secondary of the TKAD and the two are shunted with a variable capacity of .0006 M.F. wavelengths oscillations can be produced of varying wavelengths up to 750 meters. It is provided with a four point switch as shown in the illustration.
    All inductances are wound with Litz wire of sufficient capacity to handle 50 watts, on either cellulak tubes. Standard Grebe construction, with weathered finish quartered oak cabinets, bakelite panels, and dials, Gorton engraved.
