  • 1919 Grebe Vacuum Tube Transmitter Coupler Unit Type TKAC Type TKAC is a coupler unit of the "V" circuit type designed more particularly for laboratory undamped drivers, having a double switch-arm traveling on two sets of switch points, 7 in each set, varying the inductance in both the plate and grid circuits simultaneously. When shunted by a variable capacity of .003 M.F. wavelengths can be obtained up to 1650 meters.
All inductances are wound with Litz wire of sufficient capacity to handle 50 watts, on either cellulak tubes or kiln-dried hardwood forms. Standard Grebe construction, with weathered finish quartered oak cabinets, bakelite panels, and dials, Gorton engraved.
