• Bemerkung

• This radio is a Goldentone model G9. The the name G9 points clearly to Griffin-Smith. The radio uses two 25Z5 rectifier tubes that are in parallel in a doubler circuit to provide enough current. The Goldentone G9 radio was available with at least two different cabinets, one being a tabletop radio and the other being a tombstone as pictured in the Cathedral & Tombstone Radio's book by Mark Stein (Page 127).
