  • The Grundig-Majestic folder from 1957 shows this AM-FM-Short Wave model Pizzicato 7050 W/3D with an automatic phonograph. It has one 7" x 10" oval concert speaker, two 5" x 7" extended range speakers, and one electrostatic tweeter.

    Four levels Multi-Sonic tone control system (see Grundig Wunschklang - Register in German), illuminated indicators, "Eagle-Eye" tuning. Connecting jacks for remote control Baton, external speaker Mystic Maestro, external speaker, and phono. 3-speed automatic intermix record changer built-in. Cabinet in Mahogany or Dark Walnut.

    There is a Grundig-Majestic "Instruction Boock" for a similar model, simply called 7050 / USA with a Perpetuum-Ebner "REX A" three-speed ten-record changer with 7 tubes and the same cabinet.

    A schematic is on record for the domestic version Musikschrank 7050.
    Note: the domestic version has 7 tubes plus a selenium rectifier. We don't know if the Majestic catalog is in error or if there are really 8 tubes used in the model.
