  • The Hammarland RDF-10 is a portable, transistorized Radio Direction Finder and Radio Receiver.  It is designed to provide bearings for location of the craft on which it is used, for entertainment and for monitoring the 2182kHz distress frequency when the radio telephone is active and the craft is under way. 

    The bands are as follows:
    Beacon Band.................190 - 400kHz
    Broadcast Band.............550 - 1600kHz
    Marine Band..................1.7 - 3.4kHz
