Bill "Frogger" Henry, a guest from Florida, has sent me the pictures and data about this somehow unique model for the brand Hammarlund Mfg. Co., New York City.
He would like to know more about this HR-10 Weather-Sentry radio, which is in a contrast to perhaps all other products from Hammarlund. Unfortunately we don't know the date of manufacturing - or the sales period. We believe that the radio was of high quality like other Hammarlund products - and therefore much too expensive for the ordinary consumer market. The number of such models must be very small if that is the case. But there might be other reasons for the rareness of this model? One could be the sale and closing of the company.
