Brief technical details
The unit described here has the PCB assembly with the reference "DSP-757 V1.6 2024.03.27". At least one older version exists with the reference "DSP-757 V1.4 2023.11.28"
The radio is built around a AKC6958 QFN32 package, FM,TV,MW,SW,LW,WB DSP tuner chip (IC1) able to receive from 30 to 230MHz in FM and 0.15 to 30MHz in AM, using dedicated RF inputs for MW, SW, and FM. The RF front-end uses a R25/2SC3356-R25 NPN transistor (Q1) and a C3/1SS302 diode set (D15) for antenna protection. MW band reception uses a dedicated, small, internal magnetic antenna.
An additonal piggyback PCB with the reference "WT-MODULE1 - DSP-M9 V1.1 tuner" handles the V.UHF band. It features an unmarked IC that matches the BK4819 analog two way radio pinout with a 26.000MHz xtal, another unmarked IC that matches the 3418/AW13418QNR SP8T switch IC, a 2057/RS2057 SPDT analog switch IC, and a R25/2SC3356-R25 NPN transistor.
The speaker is driven by a LTK5302 Boost Audio Power Amplifier (IC4). The earphones are driven by IC1.
A CXXC14B5C BlueTooth media player by A3 (IC2) manages the radio and uses a VK2C23A for LCD driver (IC7), and a DS18B20 1-Wire Digital Thermometer (IC3) to measure the temperature inside.
Additional active components are used for control and power supply, like a P14C13 by Prisemi (IC6) for Over-Voltage-Protection, a F9Ha/ D45/CL4056D battery charger, a few SBWI/L regulators by MICRONE (IC8, IC9, IC11), several HM2301B P-MOSFET transistors (Q4, Q6, Q7, *1), and NPN/PNP several transistors
