    A floor radio/gram with separate speaker enclosures which can be mounted as an integral part of, or separate from, the radio and gram control section. The design incorporates the latest long low look with control panel and gram having a black and silver instrument type finish. The cabinets are finished in oiled teak or oiled walnut with brown bottom rail and legs with satin aluminium ferrules. Twin channel chassis with seven valves: 6BE6 (converter), 6BA6 (I. F.), 12AX7 (preamplifier), 12AX7 (driver), 6AQ5 (right channel output), 6AQ5 (left channel output), 6V4 (rectifier). A germanium diode Type AA119 (detector/AVC). Output 4W per channel RMS.

    Speakers: two Rola Type C9/6LX twin cone, each mounted in its own separate enclosure. These enclosures can be placed on the cabinet shelf to form part of the main cabinet; can be separated, up to 8 feet apart or placed in bookshelf for ear level sound.

    Controls comprise separate bass and treble boost and cut control, tuning, balance and loudness. The loudness control is frequency compensated to ensure pleasant low-level listening. Push button operation of power on-off and radio/gram changeover. Knobs are finished in satin aluminium.

    Ferrite rod aerial with provision for external aerial connection. Full vision dial with all Australian station markings and kHz scale.

    Extra facilities include right and left hand inputs for microphone and tape recorder, and right and left hand outputs for stereo headphones and tape recorder.

    Changer: Garrard Model 3000 fitted with lightweight tubular arm and head, finished in satin silver and black. Turntable has satin aluminium trim ring. Cartridge is stereo ceramic Sonotone 9TA with diamond stylus for L.P. Unit incorporates a stylus cleaning brush. (FROM MINGAY'S PRICE SERVICE)
