This transceiver is for amateur bands from 3.5 to 29.7 MHz; 15 MHz WWV only receiver.
The difference from SB-104A is that this unit works only in SSB and CW (not in AM).
Power output in SSB:100 Watt PEP ± 1 dB; in CW 100 Watt ± 1 dB. In low power 1 Watt PEP in SSB and 1 Watt in CW.
Transceiver operations: SSB, PTT or VOX, CW, VOX key or manual.
Sensitivity: Lower that 1.0 µV for 10 db signal/noise in SSB. Low impedance headphone socket. Input for high impedance microphone.
Audio power out: 2.5 Watt at 4 Ω, 1.25 Watt at 8 Ω. Audio frequency range: 350 - 2450 Hz.The companion external Station Speaker SB-604 has a cabinet large enough to also house the external Fixed Station Power Supply HP-1144.
