    100 watt amateur transmitter (kit) in hybrid for the following frequency ranges: 3.5 - 4.0, 7.0 - 7.5, 14.0 - 14.5, 21.0 - 21.5 and 28.0 - 28, 5 MHz. Full-break-in operation (QSK). Pout 100 watts to 80 m to 15 m, 75 watts to 10 m. Power stage: 2 × power tubes, type 6146. The changeover from send to receive mode is performed by a diode switch. Other features include a sidetone generator, receiver mute and keying an additional linear amplifier. Power is supplied by the Heathkit PS-23 power supply.

    The companion receceiver for this model is the Heath HX-1680.

Zur weiteren Ausstattung gehören ein Mithörton-Generator, Empfänger-Stummschaltung und Tastung einer zusätzlichen Linearendstufe. Die Stromversorgung erfolgt durch das Heathkit-Netzteil PS-23.
