  • The Heathkit T-1 Signal Tracer was Heathkit's first signal tracer.  The schematic is dated April 15, 1948.  The first ad for the device can be found in Radio News, May 1948.   The subsequent model T-2 was first advertised in April 1949, making the T-1 model rare today.  The RF probe contained just a 1N34 crystal diode.
