Analog Power Meter compatible with entire series of 8480 power sensor;
Power Range 55 dBm with 10 full-scale ranges adapted at any power sensor type by four optional dial knobs.

For range of 0.3 nW to 10 µW (i.e. 8484A power sensor) the correct dial knob shows 0.3, 1, 3, 10, 30, 100, 300 nW and 1, 3, 10 µW full scale.

For range of 3 µW to 100 mW (i.e. 8481A, 8482A, 8483A power sensors) the correct dial knob shows 3, 10, 30, 100, 300 µW and 1, 3, 10, 30, 100 mW full scale

For range of 0.3 mW to 3 W (i.e. 8481H and 8482H power sensor) the correct dial knob shows 0.3, 1, 3, 10, 30, 100, 300 mW and 1, 3, 10 W (but the maximum admissible power for last full scale of 10W is 3W only !).

For range of 3 mW to 30 W (i.e. 8481B and 8482B power sensor) the correct dial knob shows 3, 10, 30, 100, 300 mW and 1, 3, 10, 100 W (but the maximum admissible power for last full scale of 100W is 30W only !).
