  • 3-Band, Mono car radio.

    Hitachi KM-1003 car radio with 3 wavebands, Long, Medium, and FM.  Manufactured in Japan in the mid to late 1970s for the UK market.

    Although FM, this is a mono radio and features an On/Off Volume knob on the left hand of the front face with infinitely variable tone control behind this.  On the right hand of the front face is an infinitely variable tuning knob.  The front centre beneath the tuning scale is 6 preset station buttons with one for LW, 2 for MW, and 3 for FM.  FM has noise-cancelling circuitry.

    12 V, negative earth-only power.
