  Earphone jack. Transistors can also be: HJ23 HJ22 HJ22 HJ15 HJ17 HJ17 1N34A. This TH-666 was available in three color schemes; two tone red & grey, two tone gold & black and this two tone pearl and ivory example. This Hitachi TH-666 came with its original gift box, leather case, leather earphone case, earphone, blue polishing cloth, and polishing cloth bag. The TH-666 has an under-painted face and tuning dial and does not show the Civil Defense marks (CD), most radios made for the American market had. It shows a little red and gold cloisonné badge at the bottom of the painted metal speaker grill. This early circular Hitachi logo is typical for the Hitachi radios and literature and is still in use today.
