Fil de cuivre guipé coton polymérisé. Ceinture en celluloid noir poli perforé. Montée sur un bloc de self en "Roburine" avec qualités en HF superieures à l'ébonite.
Selfs montées à broches avec:
- broches de 5 mm: ecartement de 14 mm, type "Standard"
- broches de 4 mm: ecartement de 16 mm, type "Français"
- broches de 4 mm: ecartement de 19 mm, type "Union"
Disponible en 3, 5 - 25 (à 5), 35, 50 - 275 (à 25), 300 - 600 (à 100), 750 - 1500 (à 250) spires.
Existe aussi en versions self nue et self à pivots.
