  • Separate Loop aerials for LW & MW.

    Automatic grid bias by "HT-" via 680 Ohms to LT- / chassis. So though the Invicta "INV4" pack is recommended the grid taps are not used.

    One of Pye's Earliest All Dry sets, under the Invicta brand, along with the "New Baby Q All Dry". If  production continued to 1942, late models may have the Sylvania/RCA type Octal equivalents fitted (only the socket differs).

    Three position Waveband Switch is power switch.

    Probably replaced the 1939 New Junior 650 which is 2V Lead Acid LT. Compare the Pye branded model from same factory, 1940 New Baby Q All Dry with notes on valve changes.
