  • The Rexonola No. 35 Prismaphonic was introduced in 1929 and remained on sale until 1931. See illustrated newspaper advertisement from 1929 of this model as well as the Rexoport models.

    The Rexonola Prismaphonic No. 35 comprises a Swiss made Rexonola (Thorens) double spring motor, a Rexophonic speaker (see advertisement) and Rexonola's patented Prismatic timber (wooden) sound chamber rather than a metal horn. Rexonola Prismaphonics gave sound reproduction of exceptional clarity and fidelity.

    The cabinet for the Rexonola No. 35 Prismaphonic is made of Oak and finished in "Nut Brown" shade using a Nitro-Cellulose Lacquer. Rexonola cabinets were manufactured in Sydney NSW Australia. Note the model badge which bears the patent details as well as model number, this model as with other Rexonola Prismaphonics came with a special Rexonola Prismaphonic non spill used needle receptacle and a Rexonola, Prismaphonic speed regulator escutcheon. This model's cabinet has the regular Rexonola fretwork.
