  • The reproducer has an electromagnetic transducer (electromagnet and steel diaphragm) at its base. The sound is routed through a horn to the top of the speaker. At the mouth of the horn there is a frontal cone covered with fabric. It is this cone that vibrates with the sound. The back of the horn is closed with a fixed cone.
